Act I: New Orbit | NUCLE1

The opening of NUCLE1 – Integrated Arts Center marks the emergence of a new gravitational field for contemporary art in São Paulo. Located in the Aclimação district, the eight-story, 1,500-square-meter building was conceived as a multidisciplinary and collaborative space, inspired by historical models such as the Bauhaus and Andy Warhol's Factory, where art, critical thought, and experimentation coexisted as driving forces of cultural transformation.

On March 28, 2026, the day artist Enivo celebrates his 40th birthday, NUCLE1 opens its doors with INAUGURAL ACT – NEW ORBIT, a collaborative exhibition that marks not only a pivotal moment in the artist's trajectory but also a collective affirmation of urban culture within the institutional landscape of Brazilian contemporary art.

For one month, every floor of the Domingos Building will be occupied by artists working across painting, sculpture, printmaking, architecture, design, photography, video, performance, fashion, music, dance, and circus arts, transforming NUCLE1 into a living organism of creation, experimentation, and exchange.

The exhibition extends beyond the gallery space through a public program of courses, artist talks, lectures, and mentorships, reinforcing the institution's commitment to education, critical thinking, and the circulation of knowledge.

For Enivo, NUCLE1 emerges as a spiral gesture across time—a point of convergence where the experiences, influences, and relationships accumulated over four decades come together. It looks back to acknowledge the forces that shaped its foundation while projecting new trajectories toward the future.
